Makeup Remover Hunt!

Today I shall share a post about makeup removers. So obvious I'm crazy about skincare and base makeup. During this season of parties and celebration, its is important to cleanse your face throughly clean, no makeup before you go and sleep. No matter how tired you are. Cause makeup residue can clog up pores and develop into pimples or acne.

My double cleansing routine: cleansing oil / wipes + cleansing water / facial foam.

I have prepare a whole list of makeup removers i have tried and used before, a long list actually. Lol. Hope it will be useful! :) And these are reviews based on my personal experience! Maybe different for everyone!

Cleansing Oil

Cheap Effective and amazing * * * * * Removes most eye makeup. No fragrance. Affordable. Locally available.

Effective but high end price * * * * * Removes most eye makeup. No fragrance. Expensive Locally available. When I use this, it sometimes gets into my eyes, blurs my vision. Dislike that part.

Cheap Effective and amazing * * * * Removes some eye makeup. No fragrance. Affordable. Locally available. Use cleansing water if needed. (Mascara etc)

A good eye makeup remover I recommend. STRONGLY RECOMMEND. Damn powerful removes everything, even eyelash glue in one swipe. Cheap Effective and amazing * * * * * Removes all eye makeup. Waterproof mascara also gone! No fragrance. Affordable. Locally available at sephora.

Do Not recommend. Dislike the smell. * * Removes little eye makeup. Cleansing power very weak. Affordable. Locally available.

Cleansing Wipes

SUPER RECOMMENDED FOR LAZY ONES. One piece can wipe off whole face all makeup. Last time i put think makeup & fly, this one is seriously heavy duty. Cheap Effective and amazing * * * * * Removes all eye & face makeup. No fragrance. Affordable. Locally available. More suited for oily skin, but I use it during the period I had oily combi & dry skin (winter months) too.

Another heavy duty one! Cheap Effective and amazing * * * * * Removes 90% eye & face makeup. No fragrance. Affordable. Locally available. If makeup very thick, use cleansing water to double up. If little bit only, this wipes can do it all, w/o the hassle of use water n towel etc.

Do not recommend. Sting my face never remove much, wasted my money.

Cleansing Water

HG STATUS!

Effective and amazing, new packaging comes with a pump too! * * * * * Removes most face makeup. Eye makeup need a few more wipes. No fragrance. Suitable for sensitive skin. Locally available. Abit expensive.

Heard this is good. Recommended by local MUA. Shall try it soon. :) A cheaper alternative to the Bioderma i guess.

Cleansing balm

One more to add! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. For traveling. Fuss free liquid free drip free. Cheap Effective and amazing * * * * * Removes everything! Slight fragrance. Affordable. Locally available only at DFS. Or online.

Facial Foam

This is the facial foam im using now, good and effective. The foam doesnt dry my skin out after washing, still nice and fresh feeling. And can last a long long time.

Recommended facial foam! Effective and amazing * * * * * No fragrance. Cheaper in duty free or online platforms. Locally available.
