Time for a Random Skincare Chat!

These are some serums I used to hydrate and plump up my skin inside out. I used to have Oily Combination skin, and now to Normal/Combination Skin.

The following products are purchased by me, with my hard earn money. I share them cause they really work. :)

Major Fave Brands- Belief (Korean Brand) and Khiels (USA Brand).

《BELIEF》 This brand is not foreign to the girls in singapore as they have become increasingly popular amongst the bloggers and korean beauty brands that have entered the SG market. The peat miracle series (green bottle) does an all rounding job to pump up my skin with necessary nutrients. This eye mask ( left ) effectively reduces my dark circles overnight and has a cooling sensation. Hungarian essence ( tallest one) gives me hydration without feeling sticky as it absorbs really well.

《KHIELS》 On the left- MRC SERUM. my holy grail until today.

It was extremely effective during the past 2 years when i was flying. This is perfect on its own to combat dryness and it absorbs super quickly. Actually this is my second bottle already. Used up the first one and gave some samples to my friend with oily skin. She liked it too. Just use 3 drop and masaage onto face and neck. But nowadays weather sho hot, im using the next serum mentioned below.

On the right, CCS serum.

Does what it claims. Lightens my freckles tremendously, and brightens up my face entirely. Not only that. It reduces the tiny spots on my forehead, big pimples becomes small ones. And i wake up with no visible pores. The key is to use it regularly, results will show within 4-7days. i swear by this product as of now cause it absorbs immediately in this really hot weather.

If my skin oily, i use oil, wouldn't it make it more oily?

Well I'm no expert but speaking from experience, i just share some basic knowledge about the skin. Your skin is at its best when the water and oil is balanced. If your skin is damn oily always have pimples and spots, its a lack of hydration aka water. When ppl ask u to using foaming cleanser to wask your face or to apply pimple cream, it strips off the oil on the surface and cause your skin to dry out. When your skin notice that the surface is dry, it will produce more oil. Not good right?

In order to balance it out from within, try using hydrating products. The fast and most effective one that ive tried and used up at least 3 bottles, is the Laneige sleeping mask. It really works. I swear. But not daily usage, maybe thrice a week is good. Cause not cheap also.

When your skin is hydrated and filled with water, it will plump up naturally and have that Bouncy look. The most ideal moist look on your face, like the koreans. The base of your skin is very important no matter what look you're going for. Be it the kpop look or the no makeup bare face look, flawless skin will give you that appearance of healthy looking skin.

Your skin has 3 layers. First layer can be reached by. Creams, sheet mask, cream mask, lotions etc. Second layer can be moisturized by. Serums, ampoules and essences. Last layer can only be fed by lifestyle changes. Sleeping well. Drinking lotsa water and exercising.

The korean look is crazyyyyyy all over asia, straight brows, flawless face and gradient lips. Work on achieving a flawless face. That will help alot. My mum used to be a beautician, and under all that influence i get to learn more in depth about the skin etc. But i dont believe in facial ironically, i just enjoy the massage part. HAHA. I cant stand using machines on my face. However, the clarasonic is useful for taking out all that dirt underneath your skin, those build up of makeup all that.

I will update any more skin issues as i have been staying in SG permanently less than 2 weeks as of now. See how my skin is adapting to the weather here. Changing up my products so i dont have too many spots and stuff.

For students out there who are really broke and penniless, innisfree products are affordable and effective. Do check them out, their store have samples and testers for u to try out first before buying :)

Thanks for Reading!
